MONACO DRIVER ON THE MEND

Young Oakleigh driver Ben Capuano had a big crash at VACC Park at the second round of the All Star Series. The OGKC recieved the following information from his father Rod.

Ben Capuano, fractured his femur whilst racing at Todd Rd last Saturday in the All Star Series. Ben and his father Rod, would like to thank all the drivers, officials and Go Kart people for there assistance on the day and their many well wishes and messages of support received over the past few days.

Ben had an operation at the Royal Childrens Hospital on Saturday night, during which time a steel rod was inserted into the bone. Still very sore and sorry, we very much appreciate the support of all. Any visitors are welcome, as 14 year old boys don’t like sitting still for long, so any company helps take Bens mind off the injury. Ben is looking forward to a full recovery and getting back in the drivers seat as soon as he can.
