TEST SESSIONS
Friday was the big day for testing. The weather was forceast to be good, and everyone was bound to put new tyres on, thus laying some rubber down onto the track.

It was overcast in the morning, but the sun soon broke through the clouds giving me a perfect opportunity to kick back in the sun in between practice sessions to catch up on a tan and make everyone back home jealous when I get back into the country. It's a must right?

I still found it hard to find a rhythm on this track, it is constantly changing, and there is always a new limit to the handling. The thing about this tyre, is that when you break traction only a once or twice, it will overheat and not come back to its best operating temperature. Frederic Ostier (who finished runner up last year) has been putting in some solid times, he is the man to beat. Even with his tyres one session old, I (with new tyres) still need .2 of a second to match his time.

There is very stiff competition in the class, everyone, apart from Frederic, is doing similar times.

My Host team, Eurokarting, are confident in the package, along with my driving that we will still be competitive.

Tomorrow is another day. My Class is split into 2, so I am hoping that the track will not go off between sessions, as it unfortunately did for Adam Hughes last year here which lead to him being caught mid-pack.

After practice it was time to prepare the kart for racing, Thierry rebuilt my engine, and I cleaned the kart up and put stickers on it.

I then listened to drivers briefing in "French", and when I asked for a translation, I was told, "ah it's all pretty much the same as every other race", just as well everyone attended then?!

SATURDAY - QUALIFYING...
