The first round of the TAG CHALLENGE INTERNATIONAL powered by IAME, the European Series dedicated to the Parilla X30 drivers, was contested on the Salbris circuit in France on the 24th April.

More than 70 drivers compted in 4 different classes, all using IAME homologated engines only. The official website is - www.tagchallenge.com

X30 JUNIOR
Florian Latorre, on his Sodi Kart is the absolute leader all week end long. He wins all the races form the time qualifying to the final, conquered with 9 seconds of advantage on the 2nd place.

He also collects the best lap in the pre final and final. Etienne Mordret on Zanardi is author of a very good performance, starting from the 8th position of the final, he is capable to recover and finishes 2nd.

Charles Machado on his Tony Kart is 3rd both in the pre final and final and De Oliveira Bruno is 4th coming up from the 10th place on the grid. Ivan Segura on Energy doesn't confirm his good 2nd place of the pre final, finishing in 7th position in the final.

X30 SENIORS
The class with the most drivers is very balanced. The Spanish Rodelas Castillo (Energy) seems to be the favourite after the qualifying heats with two 1st placements that put him up on pole on the grid of the pre final.

In the race is then Martin Vanhove on Intrepid to surprise, he wins in front of Jeremy Lopes, who started 5th, and Andrea Suau, who is 3rd with his Tony Kart. Best lap in the pre final for John Barbe who is able to recover from the 20th place to the 10th.

Everything changes in the final and is Sebastien Le Gleuher on FA Kart to get the chequered flag in front of Vanhove and Lopes, who confirm at the top also in the final. Jeremy Perclers on Kosmic is 4th after a good recovery from the 14th place. Best lap and 5th place in the final for Sebastien Pastorek on Energy.

X30 MASTERS
The "Old guys" class is run together with the Seniors and two protagonist alternate at the lead of the class: Luc Levfevre is the final winner in front of Ludovic Breton, both on Kosmic, switching the previous positions of the pre final. A very well earned 3th placement for the Peruvian Mario Barrios.

X30 SHIFTER
Emilien Grosso (Intrepid) is the star of the show of the X30 Shifter class. He dominates from the qualifying to the final. Behind him comes Kenny Charles on Sodi in both races. Maxime Roy (Tony Kart), 4th after the qualifying heats, is 3rd in both the pre final and the final, also with the best lap in the pre final.

Just a step out of the podium came Marc Berteaux on Tony Kart and Paul Roman (Energy), respectively 4th and 5th. Best lap in the final for Yohann Cresson, who is unluckily forced to leave the main race.

ABOUT THE TAG CHALLENGE?
The series will be run on IAME X30 to incorporate X30 Junior, X30 Senior, X30 Masters, X30 Shifter Tag and KZ2 open to all KZ2 CIK-FIA (IAME ONLY) homologated engines.

The object of this Championship is to provide to X30 worldwide drivers the opportunity to race within a professional, organized, high status series and compete at the highest level on some of the best tracks in Europe:
