22/06/10 KartSport New Zealand have chosen the MG AZ tyre as the control DRY tyre for tyre restricted classes for the contract period 1/1/2011 to 31/12/2013. The New Zealand Distributor is MG Tyres NZ Limited. KartSport NZ Official Report


REMO RACING WINS THE AKA TYRE TENDER FOR 2010 - 2013
MG has once again secured all CLUBMAN classes and FORMULA 100 classes in Australia. It is also the official tyre for the RESTRICTED 125cc classes.  MG tyres in TaG 125 and Sportsman and Formula Australia classes have also been accepted. Leopard 125cc classes will also continue to use MG tyres.

Schumacher competed in the SuperPro category, with the spec tyre for all classes being the MG-FZ Yellow Tyre, the only slick tyre allowed to be used in the competiton.

ABOUT MG FZ YELLOW
The MG FZ YELLOW tyres are used in Australia in the high performance classes. The FZ tyre offers good performance, durability and consistancy.  The drivers are very happy with their performance.  Very versatile, the FZ compound ensures the drivers great performance on a wider range of track and weather conditions.

ABOUT MG AZ RED
The MG AZ RED tyres are used in Australia's biggest class called the CLUBMAN CLASS, where the Yamaha 100cc direct drive engine is used. The AZ Red tyre is also used in Restricted 125, Formula Aust, TaG 125 and Sportsman Classes. The AZ RED tyre has performed exceptionally well in Australia for the past 11 years.  All drivers are very satisfied with the durability, reliability and consistancy from set to set.

TAG Class for 2010:
The committee is pleased to advise all 125's drivers that DKA will run a TAG class in accordance will AKA rule book in 2010. During the off season AKA amended TAG rules allowing all 125 competitors to compete using MG Red tyres. The committee look forward to an increase in 125 numbers in 2010.
