The X30 125cc engine is eligible for Competition in 2010

  • TaG Restricted 125 class
  • Leopard class
  • Junior Performance class


What sets the Parilla X30 (and RL) apart from their competitors is they are the only engines in the world with a "self-charging" system (charges the battery whilst the engine is in use) Also, in case of battery failure the engine can be started like other conventional kart engines.

IAME's intention is to provide a class with LOW RUNNING COSTS and low noise emissions compared to conventional 100cc racing karts and to eliminate some of the variables within the class.

The intention of this is to reduce the amount of testing and technical expertise required to be competitive, placing the emphasis on driver skill.
