JOSH ROGERS (Kosmic) had a blinder at Round Four of the Supercheap kart series at Toowoomba on Sunday.

AN up-and-coming karter has had an exceptional meet at the latest SuperCheap kart series, just one of a Gladstone contingent to race at the weekend.

Youngster Josh Rogers qualified first in the rookies class, and came away with a couple of wins and a second from three races on Sunday in Toowoomba.

Rogers joined five other Gladstone Kart Club members at Round Four of the SuperCheap Round in Toowoomba on Sunday.

These included Craig Butler, Kane Eycroft, Denis Butler and Nick Butler, and the lads came away with mixed results.

Craig said Rogers handled the Toowoomba track very well, and his kart was flying around the circuit.

β€œHe was pretty impressive during the races, especially considering the high standard of karters he was up against,” Craig said.
