How
to install the
Wallpaper...
To set a Wallpaper on your PC:
- If unknown, determine your screen resolution by opening the
'Start' menu and selecting 'Control Panel' under 'Settings'.
Choose the 'Display' Control Panel, then go to the 'Settings'
tab. Your screen resolution will be displayed in the 'Screen
Area' panel (usually 1024x768 or 800x600 pixels). Take note of
this information and close the windows opened.
- Wallpapers are available in two resolutions - 1024x768 pixels
and 800x600 pixels. Click on the wallpaper size that matches
your screen resolution below the desired wallpaper image (above).
This will open the image in a new browser window.
- Right-click on the image and select 'Set As Background' or
'Set as Wallpaper', then close the browser window. Your wallpaper
image should appear on your desktop.
To set a Wallpaper on your Mac (OS9 or earlier):
- If unknown, determine your screen resolution by opening the
'Monitors' control panel under the Apple menu.
Your screen resolution will be displayed in the 'Resolution'
panel (usually 1024x768 or 800x600 pixels). Take note of this
information
and
close the Control Panel.
- Wallpapers are available in two resolutions - 1024x768 pixels
and 800x600 pixels. Click on the wallpaper size that matches
your screen resolution below the desired wallpaper image (above).
This will open the image in a new browser window.
- Control-click on the image and select 'Download image to disk'.
- Select where you want to save the file on your hard drive,
and make sure you remember where you saved it.
- Select the 'Appearance' Control Panel from the Apple menu,
choose the 'Desktop' tab, choose 'Place Picture' and select the
file from your hard drive. Click 'Set Desktop'. Your wallpaper
image should appear on your desktop.
