About Remo LucianiRemo Luciani's passion for karting began in 1981, and continues just as strongly today. With 7 Australian National Championship Titles (current 2011) and 55 State Championship Titles National-Wide (current 2011) to his name, his karting knowledge and experience is second to none.
His passion for karting started in 1981 when he was 21. It was his mates who initiated him into karting. Sitting him in a kart joking that he could not drive but when Remo got out there for the first time they were stunned to see he was a "natural racer". He was more shocked than they were - He was hooked. He soon had his own Kart and racing on weekends leading him to leave his band of 10 years ‘Inspiration' where he played the drums to pursue a career in Kart Racing. Motorsport had gotten into his blood. He chose the number 17 (the V8 Supercar back then of Dick Johnson). He was involved in the construction of the Horsham Kart Club at which he spent most of his time and was racing on a dirt track back then. When he started to get competitive he started travelling around the country winning many titles...they called him "The Best Yamaha Driver in Australia" at the time. Remo never moved onto another class until he had won the championship... He won his first Australian Championship title in International Class (known as Formula A today). He actually won 3 Australian Titles in 6 months! Remo designed his own Australian made Monaco GP racing kart at this time and it has been a great success. Success has followed with 7 Australian Championship Titles (current 2011) and 55 State Championship Titles (current 2011). What keeps Remo behind the wheel is his love of competition, the adrenaline and of course the speed; I have a love for the sport. Remo is a highly self motivated person and has the determination to succeed. Remo said he would only retire when he is no longer ‘competitive' or its no longer ‘fun'. Remo's commitment to racing continues today, and at his age he is still competitive, competing against many much younger drivers. He will continue to help turning Kart Racers into stars! Remo is married to Sabrina and together they have 3 children, Remii, Marcus and Scarlett. FORMULA FOR SUCCESS Kart Racing is the steppingstone for the future Formula One World Champions. Household names such as Senna, Prost, Coulthard, Schumacher, Trulli and Webber they have all gone through the steep learning curve of this very close and exciting motorsport. Champions get what they want because they know what they want. They have a vision that keeps them motivated and efficiently on track. They see it, feel it, and experience it in their minds and hearts.
